Civil Engineer
Perform
engineering duties in planning and overseeing construction projects, especially
bridge and heavy highway projects.
Conduct site investigations, analyzing and reviewing site layout, asphalt
paving materials, road and storm drain design, sediment control and utility
design. Participate in budgeting,
estimating, scope and proposal writing as well as writing site assessment and
project reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and two (2) years of
experience in the position is required.
Experience is required in cost estimating in conjunction with
evaluation/interpretation of topographic/terrain raw data particularly for
volume calculation to deliver more accurate cost estimating and cost
controlling. References are also
